MIPI Generator
SVL-03-GEN

The MIPI Generator SVL-03-GEN is a device that can combine multiple recorded camera videos and CG images to convert them into a single cutting-edge camera video. It can perform frame composition of in-vehicle camera footage with different resolutions and frame rates.
It uses a USB3.2 Gen2 port and DisplayPort as input interfaces, and can output video signals as MIPI video signals. It supports up to 4K/30fps output, allowing for high-performance video processing.
Additionally, it is compatible with automotive use standard serializers, enabling connection with a wide range of devices, while also enabling a flexible customization of the resolution, frame rate, and blanking area.
The compact size of the main unit and its low power design allow it to operate on USB bus power alone, making it a versatile camera emulation board useful in image processing and sensor development environments.
It can output CG images from a PC as video from a camera module, making it possible to efficiently develop image processing devices even when on-site shooting is difficult.
Characteristics
- Supports MIPI CSI-2 1.5Gbps/lane
- Supports input from USB3.2-Gen2 or DisplayPort
- Supports 6Gbps band in-vehicle serializer
- Optional Feature
└ Merge MIPI video:
By using multiple SVL-03-GEN, it is possible to combine video of different sizes and output them as a single MIPI video.

Jetson Nano Evaluation Kit
The Jetson Nano Evaluation Kit is a kit for inputting images into the Jetson Nano. It is compatible with the SVL-03-GEN camera.
The Jetson Nano has a camera connector for Raspberry Pi, and the SVL-03-GEN connects to the MIPI port. A similar connection is possible with the Jetson TX2.
This method allows you to input images stored on a PC or via DisplayPort into an NVIDIA Jetson series computer.
We have also developed a connection board (NV054-F) for connecting the SVL-03-GEN to the Raspberry Pi Camera port/Jetson Nano.
This kit is not a standard product, so please contact us for details.
*A cable for the Raspberry Pi camera is not included.
Application
CMOS sensor & Camera module emulator, Picture playback, DSP Verification, Evaluation
Application Areas
Automotive / transportation equipment, medical testing / analysis / measurement, IT / information / communications, software, education / research institutions, and so on.
